Edunex Platform ITB

Edunex is a Learning Management System (LMS) designed by the Directorate of Educational Development at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) to support flexible, modern teaching environments and facilitate a blended learning experience. Edunex enables ITB lecturers to conduct online teaching through asynchronous (non-real-time) modes, limited synchronous modes (due to server and third-party application constraints), and blended methods that integrate both online and traditional classroom interactions. This platform allows lecturers to engage in a range of academic activities, such as setting up discussion forums, assigning tasks, administering exams, and accessing information for academic analysis.

The development of this blended learning platform is part of ITB’s strategic aim to advance towards “ITB Education 4.0,” one of its strategic goals for 2020-2025, ensuring that academic staff, students, and academic unit leaders have access to state-of-the-art tools and processes to streamline modern education management.

While Edunex primarily focuses on educational purposes, it indirectly supports ITB’s initiative for remote work by enabling flexible teaching formats and reducing on-campus presence requirements for lecturers. This aligns with ITB’s broader strategy to promote a more adaptable working environment
