New York, April 8th 2019 – PT SMI, one of the Special Mission Vehicles of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance and Bloomberg signed a Memorandum of Understanding in New York to explore collaborative opportunities in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia through the SDG Indonesia One (SIO) funding platform ). The signing was also witnessed by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani & founder of Bloomberg Philanthropies Mike Bloomberg.
The scope includes encouraging Indonesian capital market infrastructure, sustainable city development & government innovation where the achievement of this collaboration is proof that the raising of partners through SIO has already reached the global level.
Furthermore, Bloomberg – a leading charity foundation that focuses on community empowerment in several aspects such as education, environment, government innovation, & health – will provide technical assistance, advice & ideas and facilitate discussion for Regional Heads in decision making & implementing policies to build sustainable city in Indonesia.
